Allyson Jacob is a freelance writer and content creator living and working in the Greater D.C. area.

Jacob has more than a decade of experience in writing, editing, and proofreading across a variety of subjects and industries including technology, education, and start-ups, among others. She specializes in long-form content and making technical processes understandable for average readers. Jacob current ghostwrites for a prominent PR firm and is accepting other clients on a part-time basis.

Allyson Jacob practices and teaches mindfulness in creative writing.

Jacob is the founder of Yeah Write!, a series of creative writing classes for tweens and teens. She draws on her experience working as a professional writer, tutor, and high school English teacher to coach young writers in developing their writing voices, their self-confidence in sharing their work with others, and their ability to become deep listeners.
